Army, Norwich, Boston College and Harvard have all advanced to the play-off stage of the New England competition. These four teams will be joined by 3 teams from upstate New York and 1 team from Met New York.

However, before this happens there will be two weekends of seeding matches. Army will host Harvard and Norwich will travel to Boston College. The winners will play each other the following weekend while the losers will play to decide the 3rd and 4th seeds.

Once the seeds have been determined they will be paired with one of the other teams and then fight for spots in the territorial finals to be held on 11/11.

The other 8 teams will be playing two more weekends of rugby and will be playing to stay up in Division One.

The New England competition structure will change for the better next year as only 8 teams will battle it out. There will be a 7 week round robin schedule with the top 4 teams advancing to the play-offs. It is a much fairer competition structure and will determine a more honest Final Four.
