Match Report - Harvard vs Brown

Harvard had an emphatic 75 – 3 win over Brown on Saturday. It was a much improved performance by the Crimson’s and has put their season back on track after being handed a disappointing defeat by Yale.
Harvard scored 11 tries with Rob Campbell converting 10 of them. Campbell also scored a try and ended the match with a 25 point tally.
In recent weeks Harvard has struggled at the breakdown but they showed significant improvement in this facet of the game and they were able to generate some quality phases.
Brown’s points came from a penalty by Jeff Margus.
Harvard plays Boston College this Saturday which will be a tough game. Boston College is the form team in the competition and will be a tough nut to crack.
Boston College has a strong forward pack and likes to dominate their opponents at set piece, especially with short lineouts. They also have a very experienced flyhalf who gives good distribution to his hard running midfield.
It will be a tough game for Harvard and they will go into this game as under dogs.
