National Champion favorites Cal Berkley easily dispatched St Mary's 33-12 in the Northern California Competition on Saturday.

The Golden Bears scored 5 tries to 2 in a clinical performance. Chris Biller scored 2 tries while Pat Castles, Rikus Pretorius and Colin Hawley scored one each. Kicker Chris Gurecki added 2 penalties and a conversion to accumulate 8 points for the match.

Cal Berkley, who has knocked over every team in their path since college rugby has existed in the US, again looks to be a formidable side. They have good athletes that can implement a fast expansive game plan and it will take a good side to knock them off their pedestal as the best side in the country.
