Army vs Northeastern preview

Nationally 5th ranked Army will again be strong favorites to take out the New England Division One Championship.

Their 2006 campaign starts this Saturday with a home game against Northeastern.

Army should be to strong for the Boston based team and will again execute a fast expansive game plan that has been the catalyst of their success in the last few seasons.

Army will again have David Godwick at scrumhalf who will provide Army’s dangerous backline with good clean ball. He has one of the best passes in USA college rugby and will be a player to watch.

Northeastern will again be tough competitors this season. They always have a tough forward pack and have an ability to hustle the opposition into mistakes. They are a difficult team to play against and can never be counted out.

Army to win this one, but it will be a physical game with plenty of hits going in.
